The Big Picture
The end goal of this project is for you to have your own personal digital recording of yourself (or a group of you) praying the rosary, saved in a digital format to a USB drive, packaged neatly inside a gift box, that you can present to your family or friends as a legacy gift.
In addition to each USB drive, included with each gift will be a “How to Pray the Rosary” Guide, a rosary (e.g. thumb rosary or a decade/chaplet rosary), a notecard (for you to write a personal note) and a photograph of the individual(s) (not shown below) who prayed the rosary.
As a recommendation, I’d suggest praying the Perimeter Prayer prior to recording which can be found on the prayers page.
What do I have to do?
LegacyRosary™ will coordinate a time to meet with you and electronically record you praying the rosary (in whole or part) or have you record yourself using various recording tools (e.g. Phone App, etc.) and uploaded to a designated site. We can further explain the process over a phone conversation (preferred) or an email exchange.
You will have the option of recording some personal comments that can be placed either at the beginning or end of the rosary.
What LegacyRosary™ will do
Once we have your digital recording, LegacyRosary™ will process the file, clean up the sound, remove extraneous noise and digitally compile an .mp3 recording of a complete rosary being prayed. A selection of soft instrumental music will be applied as background music to the recording.
You will have the option of having four separate recordings (one for each mystery), one rosary (your favorite maybe) or a combined rosary (each mystery announced for each decade).
Once complete, each gift will be blessed by a priest or deacon prior to being delivered or shipped.
How much is this going to cost?
Everything I have or do I consider a gift from God. Whether it be my time, my talents or my treasures.
Instead of placing a sales price on this gift I will instead ask for a donation. Due to the time and cost of creating each gift, I am asking for a “suggested” donation of $50 for the first gift and $25 for each additional copy of the same recording.
If you want a recording made and you cannot afford it, please send me an email so we can discuss the options available. I obviously have costs I’ll need to cover but I don’t want any barriers to be placed on someone who would truly desire to offer this gift to their family and not have the means to pay for it.
